Meet Gene Berger... Gene's been around Greenville, South Carolina for a while now. He owns the local music store, Horizon Records, and is Greenville's phenom music promoter. Through the years he's brought such names as Lyle Lovett, Emmylou Harris, Alison Krause, Buddy Guy, and the Indigo Girls to our sleepy little town.The great folks at G: The Magazine of Greenville hired me to shot a series of portraits to salute Greenville's community of creatives. Gene is the first... I'll post others in the coming days.
Just so happens I shot a little time-lapse of this location portrait shoot.... something that I plan to make a habit. The music is from Mahler's 4th Symphony... the very album that Gene is holding in his arms.
